To make music is one thing – but to change the course of a genre is another! Doctor P, aka Shaun Brockhurst is definitely the leader of the new wave of wobbles and whomps in dubstep and goes against the normal ingredients needed. Founding Circus Records with long time friend Flux Pavilion, Doctor P is known as what you might call as a triple threat, since his talent can be found in the roles he effortlessly balances as a musician, producer, and DJ. Any true fan of electronic music should instantly recognize Doctor P as one of the original godfathers of modern bass driven music. Since that first release, Doctor P has continued to grow and push boundaries, collaborating with the likes of label protégé Flux Pavilion, Dillion Francis to Grime MC P Money, along with his 2013 smash ‘The Pit’ with Adam F featuring hip hop royalty Method Man.
