Banda Alta Potencia de Zacatecas was formed in November 2007 in the beautiful, magical town of Jerez Zacatecas Mexico, and today is one of the most revered bands in the state of Zacatecas.Banda Alta Potencia de Zacatecas, who was previously called La Exclusiva de Jerez is lead by Pedro Gálvez Rodarte, who has witnessed the flourishing of his band. He has made sure that the professionalism of its members continue, ensuring that in each performance the delivery of the musicians is 100% authentic. In late 2014 big changes came to the Banda. Pedro got together with Matias Meza the owner of La Sierra Records.  Matias Meza started recording, promoting and touring such bands as Banda El Recodo, La Arolladora Banda Limon and La Adictiva Banda San Jose in the 90’s and early 2000’s. So now Mr. Meza had his eye on Pedro’s banda.  They decided to do something different, something that had not been done before. They fused the banda’s Zacatecas style with a taste of Sinaloa. In 2015, the album "Por Eternidad" came out along with the new name of as "Banda Alta Potencia". This was one of the bands best productions with songs like "Balas Expansivas de Amor" and "Bien Clavado".In 2018, the song "Calles de Tierra" was released making it the 4th consecutive song to make top 40 in the Regional Mexican charts in the USA. In 2019, "Que Me Pregunten a Mi" is released and within 2 weeks of its released, the song has already started charting at the top of the charts. 2020 a new album awaits.
