Chicago underground hip-hop artist Ramaj Eroc has always explored through a variety of topics & sounds with his music since he started writing at the age of 11. Born Jamar Core in Chicago's Roseland neighborhood, Ramaj's frequent moves from the city to the suburbs inspired all of his experiences. Influenced by the likes of Diddy, Kanye West, Ludacris, J. Cole, as well as known Rock band Linkin Park & battle MC Reed Dollaz, his 2011 relocation to Los Angeles changed everything. The Chicago rap artist collaborated with comedian Kevin Hart on the single Mitches Do That (feat. Kevin Hart), as well as a collab with Chicago artist Noname titled I Love You More. His songs Hooptie, N*ggas & B*tches, & I Love You More had all amassed 14+ million streams on soundcloud collectively until the streaming platform removed his profile. In 2018, Eroc's single I'm Just Sayin' aired on the first episode of the CW series, Black Lightning! His total streams for 2018 on Spotify totaled more than 1 million & 1.3 million in 2019. 2020's total streams on Spotify reached 3.6 million - the most in Ramaj's career. In 2021, Ramaj expanded his collaboration network with other underground hip-hop acts, such as Jamaar & Lilo Key, but only totaling 997k streams on Spotify, his worst since the streaming platform started #Wrapped. He vowed on his Instagram account to work harder & have a bounce back year in 2022!
