Barbara Milne is singer/songwriter of children’s music that specializes in teaching the young mind through relaxing and repetitious songs. She has a background in children’s music, early childhood education and psychology from The University of Southern California. Mrs. Milne also has years of experience as an elementary teacher and Parent Education instructor. Mrs. Milne created Barbara Milne Productions to develop educational products that enhance early childhood learning through beautiful and relaxing music. Her music is unique because it is based on a slow and relaxing beat, simple background and repetition that young children need and love. She writes and sings all of her own songs based on the research she has done in the classroom and home environment. Barbara has been a performer and speaker for Discovery Toys, and traveled throughout the country to support and perform for the various educational teams within the company. Her SOUNDS LIKE PHONICS product line, is exclusive to Discovery Toys, Today, Mrs Milne is still creating new music. She is collaborating with educational company, Helio Productions to add new content. With over 35 million viewers already on her youTube channel, this collaboration will enhance her ability to convert her learning songs to animated video. A new Sounds Like Fun app will be introduced to the world within the next several months. It will be available on both Android and IOS.
