Pilot - one of the brightest and scale musical projects existing today in cultural space of Russia. Group, remaining true to traditions of Petersburg rock'n'roll school, plays conformable time music – from classical Russian Rock to the hardest semielectronic indastrial with impregnations of acoustic tools. Plus – expressive scenic image: suits, theatrical sceneries, video- and sveto-effects. Conceptual basis of creativity – texts of Ilya Chert in which the sensual "household" lyrics of downtowns adjoins to philosophical reflexions and psychodelic revelations. History of "Pilot" – a refutation of the thesis that in the world of modern fate it is impossible to combine commercial success and creative independence. "Pilot", executing music rather far from popular standards, is the demanded guest performer. Geography of travel of group - from Kaliningrad to Vladivostok and Khabarovsk, from Israel to Murmansk. Compact discs of "Pilot" are on sale in impressive circulations. Practically in each big city of Russia there are fans-clubs and collective fanzines that is not in the last instance caused by democratic image of a command.
