Since debuting in 2009 with the Addiction EP, Dave Power has used the art of songwriting to document his life – capturing the essence of who he is and what he has done with his time on this planet. The lessons encoded in Dave's musical autobiography are varied shades of the human condition – from milestones such as fatherhood, to epiphanies about life, love and loss – often married in the same song. Kicking off 2023 with one of his greatest works to date, Dave has unveiled Life Is That Much Sweeter With You; a masterful meeting of balladeer and band that delivers another essential, insightful chapter to this ever-unfolding story. Following on in the same vein as 2020's deeply personal Perspective EP, Life Is That Much Sweeter With You is classic Dave Power – “Reflections on life's ups and downs with your loved one,” in his own words – but with the flourishes of his musical ensemble, the song elevates him to an even higher tier of the singer-songwriter stratum.
