Da Vinci is an electro/pop/rock band from Lisbon Portugal founded in 1982 by Pedro Luís Neves, musician/composer/producer/lyricist, and Maria Manuela (Iei-Or) singer/lyricist. Since 1982 they have toured with live shows in Portugal, European Union, South Africa, Canada. Over the years they recorded 70+ songs for 3 different companies: Polygram/Universal, and 2 Portuguese labels, with Gold and Platinum sales. As their songs and videos kept being broadcasted in media and YouTube till this day, and by request of the fans they are planning a 'come back'. The band is celebrating its 40th anniversary with the release of the album '21 Best Of DA VINCI', including the top popular songs in new versions, although keeping the spirit of the original recordings. Universal Music, their first record company, decided last year to place the Da Vinci catalog in streaming platforms. The remaining songs, are now being produced and recorded with new versions in order to place them in streaming too. The first single released is 'Conquistador', Portugal's representative in the Eurovision Song Contest 1989 in Lausanne, the band 'ex-libris'.
