A play of the letters in his name, XVAN has been the moniker of Singapore based producer, Ivan Tan, since 2015. The alias was coined by replacing the “I” in “Ivan” with an “X”, acting as a memento for XVAN to stay grounded and focused on creating refreshing music for both the casual listener and the music enthusiast. The 21-Year-Old debuted with his first official single, "What's It?", in February 2018. The song has seen tremendous support from artists such as Martin Garrix and Madison Mars. In May 2018, he entered a remix competition organised by MTV Asia and won the coveted spot on Evanturetime's debut EP with his smooth rendition of the song Sober. XVAN strives to continuously elevate his craft through the constant experimentation of sounds and techniques. He hopes to endlessly surprise his audiences whenever they listen to each passing second of his music.
