El Hombrecito is a Dominican band of the spoken word genre or "art of the spoken word" that links the poetic tradition with the Dominican and universal musical language, made up of the poets Homero Pumarol and Frank Báez, and the musicians Ángel Rosario, Fernando Soriano and Marino Peña. Since its founding in 2008, they have presented numerous concerts both in the Dominican Republic and in Madrid, Boston, Miami and Puerto Rico. They have released 3 albums "Llegó El Hombrecito" in 2009, "La Última Vuelta" in 2012 and "El Fin de la Transmisión" in 2019. Likewise, they have been producing "La Nochebuena de El Hombrecito" for 7 years, which has become a iconic festival of Dominican alternative music in the Christmas season.
