    Los Petardos! started out late 2009 in the small town of Moca, Puerto Rico. What started out as a simple excuse between friends and musicians to just play music and get drunk ended up becoming a musical and cultural rediscovery by picking up their instruments and just letting loose, searching for who they are and not what they want to be. They are citizens of the world with a musical past that feels like the mountains, beaches and island of Puerto Rico. That is how “Rocanrol con Gandules” was conceived – a reflection of the modern-day “jibaro”. The end result is an alternative “garage” rock and roll sound with some surf rock in there along with nostalgic Caribbean undertones throughout the music. Los Petardos! are full of energy, good-vibes and spontaneity; a different and eclectic vision of modern-day Puerto Rico.
