    Listening to Breaking Forms is to step into an energetic ethereal spacious rock karaoke bar. It’s sometimes upbeat, sometimes dark and scary, but always liberating. This duo has taken it upon themselves to make autobiographical music based on the premise that space is as dynamic as sound. Married by day, sound warriors by night, Breaking Forms is a combination of space aesthetics and boundless love. In 2015, Breaking Forms formed in Chile just before moving to the US. Nicole L’Huillier, ex-Condor Jet drummer and Juan Necochea, ex-Picnic Kibun released their debut EP, UNO (2015) through Weiner Records, followed by the “Ask Me Now” (2017) single on Burger Records Latam. Veterans of the new Chilean wave sound, they found a new home in the MIT Media Lab, where Nicole studies. She is a sound artist and experiments with sound, using it as a construction material, using synthesis, membranes and sonic spaces, elements that directly inspire the Breaking Forms multiverse and their sonic explorations.
