Wave Break, sonically sitting somewhere between infectious pop/rock and gritty alternative rock, endured a tumultuous start. Releasing two EPs consisting of mostly high energy anthems amidst several lineup changes, it was led by singer/rhythm guitarist Kelly Barber. In 2022, they finally rounded out their current lineup with drummer Kyle Burkert, bassist Tom Lakiszak and lead guitarist Criss Madd. After releasing their EP “Puzzle Pieces” in 2021, they went on to tour the east coast US in 2022, perform at legendary New Jersey venues such as The Stone Pony and House of Independents, and begin writing their followup release. "Spark," their first single since establishing their new permanent lineup, was released on April 14th and was mixed/mastered by multi-platinum producers Zack Odom and Kenneth Mount (Mayday Parade, Set It Off, The Summer Set, Cartel, etc). Wave Break is currently at work on their third EP and plans to continue to tour as much of the US as possible.
