Themis Adamantidis was born and raised in Kaisariani Athens, spending some of his early years in South Africa. His avocation with music and singing started in the 70s. He lived in Sweden for three years, where we worked as a singer in nightclubs. In 1980, Themis Adamantidis participated in the music talent show “Na I Eykairia”, in which he won the first prize. At the young age of 21, he releases his first album “Agapise Me” from the record company Minos EMI. His first professional appearance after his repatriation was at the music stage “Μikros Diogenis” in Syggrou street, followed by collaborations with renowned artists such as Vicky Mosxoliou, Giorgos Zampetas and Stamatis Kokotas. During his music career, he has worked with some of the most important Greek singers of Laiko and Rempetiko repertoire, including Spyros Kalfopoulos, Roza Eskenazi, Anna Xrysafi and Dimitris Mitropanos. Highlight of his professional route was his acquaintance with Stelios Kazantzidis, with whom he later worked with. Counting 40 years and more in the musical industry, with numerous successful songs, Themis Adamantidis is known to be one of the greatest singers of his kind.
