To DEVOTION, their band’s name signifies the essence of what they do: The five musicians from Recklinghausen/NRW are ambitiously chasing a dream, playing a mix of Melodic Hardcore and Post-Hardcore that draws inspiration from bands like BEING AS AN OCEAN, ALAZKA or CASEY. 
 Devotion’s music is a work of passion. A characteristic that is mostly neglected in this world becoming colder and colder. The collective takes its audience on a journey to explore and connect with their own emotions. The instrumentals, housing atmospheric and slow segments which blossom into high-energy sections with dynamic drum parts and guitar riffs, are combined with an emotionally charged vocal performance and profound lyrics which offer listeners the chance to find themselves reflected in these songs. 
 Devotion’s members have played more than fifty shows, thirty of which were organized and played within their first year as a band. These efforts were rewarded as they were honored to support THE DEVIL WEARS PRADA, BEING AS AN OCEAN, HOLDING ABSENCE and many more. 
 2018 Devotion focused their energy on writing and recording their debut EP which will be released on 15 September 2019. Finally, we proudly hold the product of more than an entire year of work in our hands: "Your Love Never Found a Home In Me!“
