Making waves since the early zeroes already, Dutch producers collective Hi_Tack has recently been coming up strong again with several club and radio hits. Known for their funked up, high energy house sound, emphasized with the group’s 2005 claim to fame “Say Say Say (Waiting 4 U)”, the music has always kept its popularity among the dance crowd, leading to a fresh outburst of original productions again. Born in 2005 with their first release “Say Say Say (Waiting 4 U)”, Hi_tack immediately had a huge hit on their hands, including an impressive #4 spot in the UK Singles Chart. The guys followed up on this success in 2006, when Hi_Tack remixed Beatfreakz single “Somebody’s Watching Me” into the charts, this time reaching #3 in the UK. In the years that followed, production work was mainly done behind the scenes, making many remixes and productions for other artists. And then, in October 2020, a new remix of “Say Say Say (Waiting 4 U)” by Steff Da Campo & 71 Digits breathed new life into the Hi_Tack project. The remix turned into an unprecedented success, in the clubs as well as on all streaming platforms - racking up tens of millions streams on Spotify alone. Boosted by the success, the Hi_Tack guys jumped back into the studio for a series of new original tracks, blending their vintage house sound with exciting contemporary vibes.
