It seems as though James Walker is perpetually overcoming; from two pioneering heart-lung surgeries, addiction issues in adolescence, toxic relationships in early adulthood, self-sabotage and suicide attempts, the fact that James is still here, unpacking it all through his music, is a testament to the act of resilience.  For the past decade, James has spent no longer than four months in any one place. Throughout these years, it has been James' prerogative to say yes to every opportunity, to write and befriend as many kindred spirits across the world. Collaborating with friends like Judy Blank, Richard Walters, Nathan Nicholson, PollyAnna, SUZOOKI SWIFT, Adam Barnes, Cooza, Matt Phillips, Youri Lentjes, The Brazen Youth, Matt Simons and many more have allowed James to introduce his songs and stories to people all over the world.  To date, James has performed in over 1,250 concerts, receiving over 25,000,000 streams, alongside national radio-play in the UK and USA - where he was BBC Introducing's Artist of the Week, as well as receiving national Radio 6 airplay on his song Voyant. He won the support of Arts Council England for his upcoming records. Over the next year, expect an entire body of work including collaborative efforts, a full-length album, and a new EP under a second moniker.  James is also a sought-after creative collaborator and producer, who has worked on the development of artist projects across the continent.
