Home for the Day is a dad punk band from Taylorsville, NC. Established in 2014 and having gone through many lineup changes, HFTD currently consists of Peter Ippolito (Vocals/Bass), Thomas Taylor (Guitar), Nick Andruzzi (Guitar), and Christian Whittington (Drums). Since the release of Home for the Day at the beginning of 2019, Home for the Day has started to gain traction in the Piedmont region of NC, especially around Charlotte. That reach has expanded with The Copy Your Homework Tour (with Duckbeak, Sept. 2021) taking them as far as Texas, and the Local Scenes & Drama Queens tour (with Seneca Burns, March 2022) going all over New England. In September of 2022, they did a short run with Come Clean before starting to write their next EP. They've had the pleasure of sharing the stage with some phenomenal acts like Sink In, SHIM, AM0RA, Penny Bored, Emo Night Karaoke, and glimmers to name a few.
