Akin to a ray of light beamed through an overcast haze, music pierces the darkness. SUM SUN brings bright melodies to artfully crafted electronic pop awash in the dancefloor’s neon glow. The band strikes a sweet spot between organic instrumentation, cinematic production, and shimmering hooks. Bask in the vibe. 
 SUM SUN represents the union of two accomplished creators—Nick Benton and Ilan Pomerance. At just 17, New Jersey-born Benton co-wrote and produced tracks for Billboard-charting reggae acts, earning a Top 10 debut on the Billboard Top Reggae Songs chart. He also lent his voice and songwriting to dance artists on Ultra Records. Around the same time, Pomerance co-wrote and produced tracks for the likes of Sony Music Entertainment, among others. Connecting through Instagram, Benton and Pomerance quickly locked into a creative flow on Zoom, building a partnership on a bedrock of respect for the talents of one another. The duo—Benton and Pomerance—strike a sweet spot between organic instrumentation, cinematic production, and shimmering hooks. After generating over 1 million cumulative streams and earning early acclaim from the likes of Travis Mills, MTV, Sirius XM and more, the pair has cultivated fans around the globe with their personal songwriting and genre-blurring artistry. 
SUM SUN wrapped up 2022 with “Stereo” which is currently the #6 most played song on Sirius XM BPM, and #14 on the BPM Top 20 Countdown.
