Avalon Tsegaye, pseudonym of Avex, is a rapper born in Italy but raised in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. There he spent the first twenty years of his life and attended an Italian school, developing the ability to speak the language of his roots, Amharic, Italian and English. In his twenties he moved to Bologna and for the next 3 years AVEX made his way into the local scene and not only as one of the most talented young rappers, passing with ease from freestyle on the streets of the city to tread the stage of important stages
