Eternal Silence is an Italian symphonic metal band formed in Varese in 2008. Their sound combines powerful guitar riffs, a thunderous rhythmic section, catchy melodies and bombastic orchestral tracks. This instrumental basis backs up two vocalists: Marika Vanni, as female lead singer, and Alberto Cassina, as guitarist, male singer and composer. The current line-up is completed by Alessio Sessa on the bass guitar, Andrea Zannin on the drums and Enzo Criscuolo as solo guitarist and composer. On December 11th 2019 they released a new digital EP “Renegades” composed of three live tracks and a new song “Renegades” out for Sliptrick Records. The band also released a particular lyric video as support of the new single, available on Youtube. During their early years Eternal Silence played many shows: the most important ones are the Under Dark Moon Fest in Czech Republic and an acoustic show opening for Timo Kotipelto and Jani Liimatainen acoustic duo. 
2018 has been so far the most important year for the band, which attended many shows, including several abroad (Germany, Switzerland, France, Czech Republic and Hungary) opening for Temperance, and two big shows in Russia (Moscow and St. Petersburg) supporting Therion. The band also took part in a European tour supporting Haggard and Sound Storm (Austria, Romania, Bulgaria, Croatia, Italy and Germany). New album "Timegate Anathema" will be released on October 8, 2021 via Rockhots Records.
