Charles Alexis Guenard, better known as Charles The French, is a half French half Thai comedian who makes funny videos with his friend Tada. Tackling student problems, relationships, music, technology and other aspects of life, their videos are now a reference in terms of student humor. Known for his sarcastic tone, Charles also composes music and is a professional magician who has performed over 2,000 shows worldwide. In 2016, Charles and Tada released a skit called "How the iPhone 7 Should Have Been Announced". The video reached an astounding 50 million views on Facebook, making it the most viewed video on the topic ever. On June 26th 2020, Charles released his debut album entitled "From the Earth to Uranus", containing 17 tracks. The album is a collection of tracks Charles has worked on since 2014. On October 21st, 2021, Charles released a full length musical comedy special on YouTube called "This is Absurd!" The sound track from the special was released the following day. In 2023, he is touring Asia (and other countries around the world) performing his brand new show "Singing Funny". On March 10th, 2023, he released the official theme song of the show, a folk dance track. "I wanted to write a song to capture the way I feel before I go on stage, to help motivate me to do my best. I wrote a song I wanted to hear", he says.
