Mr. Irish Bastard have played with the Pogues and graced stages with lots of their heroes like Flogging Molly and Dropkick Murphys. Touring relentlessly has taken them to China, Japan and more than 15 other countries. Playing more than 800 shows around the world they have carved out a very special niche in a global stout clouded scene. Singer and songwriter Irishman Chris has a reputation for being the songwriter’s songwriter in the Irish Folk Punk community. Capturing the feelings unspoken of the diaspora and the emotions of friend and foe alike he writes drink-drenched anthems and mines grit and grime and produces modern folk-rock gems.
