Uroš Petković is the producer, composer and multi-instrumentalist known as Jazzotron. He burst onto the Electro-Swing scene in flamboyant fashion following a career as a name on the Balkan Beats scene in his native Serbia and beyond. A master violinist and guitarist, his first forays into swing were as a remixer initially for his band Shazalakazoo before he started to put out his own original tunes with a variety of labels under the Jazzotron moniker. Blending traditional swing elements, layered harmony vocals and an injection of authentic Eastern European influences – his sound made an immediate impression on the Electro-Swing community. He cemented his reputation by signing with the independent label Freshly Squeezed. Having packed out venues across Europe with both his live band and as a DJ, he has quietly created what have become underground anthems due simply to the quality and musicianship he brings to all his productions.
