As a rapper, producer & singer/songwriter, Nick Satchel is someone who can't be put into a box but can be described as an overall, multifaceted genius. Born in Augusta, GA but then moving to cities like Baltimore, MD & then fully residing in Atlanta, GA, the military brat honors both his slowed 808 bass line, Trap, Southern roots as well as his lyrical, Boom-bap Northern, “alternative” influences all throughout his music; bringing a sound that intertwines realistic struggles and thoughts with conversational-like storytelling over alternative sounds backed by hard-hitting drum patterns & percussions. On his well-received debut EP, "For All Your Doubts”, Satchel showcases his knack for chronicling life by shedding light on the beauty that comes from the darkness. Anchored by 2 standout tracks, (“Astrals” & “M.A.R.T.A.”) he highlights the inner tensions that haunt him while also touching on certain sentiments and common emotions that plague us all, whether it's feeling trapped in one's own mind ("Pele") or just having fun and enjoying the moment (Wake Up). As an Atlanta-based creative with musical influences ranging from the likes of Kendrick Lamar and Outkast to Tyler, The Creator and even Prince, Nick Satchel shows that he’s able to bring a nostalgic, eccentric type of vibe and still be relevant to the times and unique, in his creativity.
