Deriving from the Land of Enchantment, Pieces of the Past intends to grab their local scene by the balls with hard-hitting riffs, unsettling, yet atmospheric backtracks, gut-wrenching screams, and emotionally vulnerable lyrics. 
 Although their roots are tied to metalcore acts like As I Lay Dying, The Devil Wears Prada, & Motionless In White, their influences range from late 90’s-early 2000’s nu-metal pioneers, such as Slipknot, Korn, and Deftones to early emo difference-makers such as The Used, From First To Last and Taking Back Sunday. Also taking inspirations from modern-day post-hardcore and emo-pop acts such as Citizen, Brand New, The Plot In You and Boston Manor. 
 Pieces of the Past consists of lead vocalist Alex Serrano, guitarist Antonio Rangel, bassist and back-up vocalist Jose Serrano, and drummer Christian Rangel.
