Gino J - someone who creates music that makes you want to dance or fall in love, influenced equally by the UK rap scene & the Congolese music of his heritage. His debut EP Casanova is a work of seductive R&B that includes the lush melodies of last year’s single ‘Questions’, featuring UK Afrobeats legend Kojo Funds, the recent ‘Brandy’, with Odeal, & five more tracks of catchy vocals & irresistible rhythms.   Following breakout singles like ‘Palm Angels’, ‘London Dungeon’ (both 2020) and ‘Cartier’ (2019), Gino has fine-tuned his sound & now talks with the maturity of someone who’s been in music for a lifetime. The self-released Casanova is his longest release to date as a solo artist.   The oldest of four brothers, Gino was born & raised in Newham, East London. Thanks to his parents he was exposed to the music of Congolese artists like Koffi Olomide & Fally Ipupa via the family stereo, before later getting into rappers such as 50 Cent & Akon. His heritage also meant he grew up speaking French, a language he occasionally blends into his music, as heard on 2021 single ‘H24 Dans L'Tiekson (Dangereux)’, a collaboration with French vocalist RSKO. 
 Kicking off 2022 with the Casanova EP and ending with his biggest single to date “Dodo”, accumulating 1 Million + views on YouTube, 2023 could be the start of a special career.
