Biyografi
You might not know who Ooyy is, but you’ve probably heard his music. Hailing from Stockholm, Sweden and producing music under the name Ooyy, Henrik Olsson is currently one of the most synchronised artists worldwide, both online and offline. His unique sound incorporates a blend of future bass, electronic hooks and organic elements. Frequently using sound effects as instruments, the immense detail within his sound creates captivating dynamics rich with builds and tension. A feeling of cinematic storytelling is at the heart of his soundscapes, and it is this that has made him such a hit with content creators worldwide. While Henrik’s musical influences are constantly evolving, this soundscaping stays at the core of his music, whether industrial or natural. Crossing genre boundaries, introducing vocals to his productions, and incorporating new sounds and instruments have been important developments within his music as a way to tell new stories. As well as releasing his debut album Kopfkino in 2021, he’s soundtracked campaigns for Daniel Wellington, the H&M collaboration with the Swedish Olympics squad for the 2018 Winter Games, and has been the subject of a documentary by the iconic YouTuber and photographer Peter McKinnon. Being a part of the creator community himself, Henrik wants to inspire people to imagine their own stories and cinematics to his songs. Hear one Ooyy song, and you’ll see what he means.
