First Sun is the electronic endeavor of Thomas Loupe, an Austin, Texas-based musician and composer. First Sun started as a metal garage band in Fort Pierce, Florida. After the band split due to creative differences, Thomas turned First Sun into a solo electronic music endeavor. One of the more interesting observations of First Sun's music is that no genre has been off limits. After three video game OSTs, numerous singles, and album releases, Thomas started a new musical side-project geared around metal music, Just Below Purgatory.
