There's rain clouds in the garden
There's no such thing as time
But something's slipping away regardless

The skunks spray in the night
But most times they don't want to
And most times when I rhyme, that's when I get free
Both sides want me bad, push and pull on me

The low tide let my pride wash into the sea

Cause being someone else was ruining my health
I put my feet up to the fire, went through hell
There's something waiting in these stories that I tell

What I like I think is to interchange serenity and peace
I stood on a beach in the storm and I can
Remember it today, the white fluff in the salt was up there
And all that and it was cloudy
And I was all alone
And I remember at that time I looked up into the sky
And I said thanks God for what you've given me
Serenity
So, I guess I started to have it then
So, from being alone
And suffering alone
And crying alone
To doing that alone
Was certainly a switch in my life
And I'm grateful
