They say peace like a river
Flowing with grace
From the mountains above us
Finds its path
Rushing from
Where it begins to the sea
But that life bringing river
Making its way
Through the land of the harvest
Sometimes overflows
And that doesn't seem peaceful to me
But if the rivers arise
I'll fix my eyes
On the Tamer of tempests
Jesus Christ
Mighty as ever
To hold back the streams
And when it's time
He'll open wide
All the floodgates of blessing
And you'll be surprised
He'll provide all the harvest we need
And though the skies may seem cloudy
I see the One bringing my silver lining

Stands as a levee a thousand feet high
