Waking up in my bed staring deep up to the ceiling
Thoughts are clouded in my head and I have a funny feeling (do I feel alright?),
The way I'm feeling's not too very bright
I'm feeling anxious with my ego and my pride being on a semi-high
Told myself I'll be alright, but something's just not sitting right, I'm
Spectating and observing, (in a place where I'm still learning)
Don't know if I'm trippin or if it's something I'm discerning
If the signs are there confirming, no stress so I just swerve
I got my blessings and my earnings,
From the most high is where they come from
With guidance and protection and some
Times of self-reflection and direction
For a better understanding of myself
Just to be myself, making sure I'm good within my health
Life has different sides, so when these energies arrive,
Make intuitive decisions, energy it never lies
Don't entertain bad energy, it wont do your soul good
Neither your ego & your pride, they won't make you see much
Of the positives in life because you'll wear them on your chest
Just choose the optimism, and you'll see that there's a blessing in disguise,
The calm before the storm, you'll see a tide
That guides you to the answer how to channel peace inside
Just remember you're still standing,
You'll have an understanding
The lessons learnt, your knowledge,
The fictions and the facts,
Life's the greatest gift to us, no matter what we have
Just keep your head up in this life, we're walkin through our paths
