(Tala‘ al-badru ‘alaynā Oh the white moon rose over us) (Min thanīyātil-wadā‘ From the valley of al-Wadā‘.) (Wajab al-shukru ‘alaynā And we owe it to show gratefulness) (Mā da‘á lillāhi dā‘ Where the call is to Allah.) They sang this song when You came to town How I wish that You were around How I wish that You would show about my door When I would cry until I tell You how Trynna follow what You've left for me I've been trying so carefully I know the Lord, He is testing me To see if I am what I said to be Follw Your way and I know I'll be right Day in and day out the rest of my life People, my city, they're searching for light Ya Nabi I will be making it bright now Until tbe day I die (Ayyuhal mab‘ūthu fīnā Oh you who were raised among us) (Ji'ta bil-amri al-mutā‘> Coming with a word to be obeyed) (Ji'ta sharaft al-madīnah You have brought to this city nobleness) مَرْحَبًايَاخَيْرَادَاع (Marḥaban yā khayra dā‘ Welcome best caller to God's way) When I saw His light shining forth in fear I covered my eyes with palms Afraid from my sight because of the beauty of it's form So I was scarely able to look at Him at all And His face shines out like the sun and the moon in one Tell me, how can I live a life Where I can be right by You'r side In Heaven one day! I pray, I pray Cause sometime I get down And my faith feels so low I'm rollin' around of my side of town Just searching for hope Oh but one thing I know I will hold on your rope I know the progress feels slow But it's the only way to grow To all my brothers and my sisters Imagine the day If Rasulullah (SAW) came to us We would say ... (Tala‘ al-badru ‘alaynā Oh the white moon rose over us) (Min thanīyātil-wadā‘ From the valley of al-Wadā‘.) (Wajab al-shukru ‘alaynā And we owe it to show gratefulness) (Mā da‘á lillāhi dā‘ Where the call is to Allah.)
