As a child back in Sunday school
I learned this simple truth
Jesus died to take my sins away
And I can still remember when
He changed my life way back then
And the cross is just as real to me today

That He's gone to prepare a dwelling place for me

Some may say I'm old enough to stand
Without holding His hand
But with each passing day I need Him more
For He's become my everything
And that's the reason why I cling to Calvary and all the cross stands for
