The winds are resting calm
The world is standing still
Its body seems pure but the spirit has been killed
Nature may die with all life petrified
Prayers to the skies for a single storm to rise
A thousand sights turn to the sky
A thousand ravens cry
As the vernal breeze transforms
Into a thousand raging storms
Coat the earth with thousand scars
As the black rays of dead stars
Bathe the world in hollow lights
In this darkest of dark nights
The tides have turned
All mercy has been burned
The air now filled with dust and mud
The ground engulfed in filthy blood
As sharp winds rip flesh apart
Of a thousand dying hearts
A thousand souls cry out in pain
A thousand tears fall down in vain
A thousand lives face their end
A thousand dreams crushed in our hands
A storm of fire sets the world ablaze
Turns the ground into a neverending maze
There is no point in running away
Where one life starts, a thousand more end!
And so the world burns down
Death reigns every town
We stand hand in hand
And wait for our end
Only silence survives
When the fire takes our lives
One last time we watch the sky
To say goodbye
And nothing remains
Volition has been slain
Fires so fierce
The world burns in the end
