And I'm hurling down an unknown set of stairs
Floating down this trail
But now I know I'm worthy

This year has left me soft and unprepared
I think I lived someone else's dream
I got it check marked
Didn't make a scene
An outer source for self esteem
Can't blow of steam
This year wasn't what it seemed
Dare to try
A well gone dry
Turtles chasing sunlight
Houses you will never get to own
You're on your own
Stubborn babies won't stop
Making stuff as long as life allows it
Say it loud and honest
A 30 year old wonder kid
Wildly wondering what I did
Right or wrong, I'm not sure
I do know that I'm lucky
Nothing's here to stop me, yet
Don't bet on regret
Left to dry
To drenched to try
