Jesus is calling as midnight is falling the signs are everywhere
The gospel lights burning
The sheep are returning to the Shepherd's tender care
Ye who are weary, so lonesome and dreary with a load so hard to bear
Come to the Saviour, there's rest for you there
The piper keeps playing
The prodigals paying as deep in sin they roam
Over and over the Saviour keeps saying
My child you're not alone
Children keep straying
While mothers keep praying for love to lead them home
Come to the Saviour
My sweet rolling stone
And He said
Blessed are the poor in spirit for theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven

And blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness
For they shall be filled
Jesus was sent to this world by His Father to bring the lost ones back
Broken and battered, tormented and tattered far off on a narrow track
Gently He moves by His Spirit and humbly He's been asking you to obey
Simply receive Him
God planned it that way
