One of the best things about God is that
He doesn't care so much about our past as He does about our future
The Bible tells us old things pass away
And all things become new
What that means is that
I may still have the same body
But I'm new on the inside
I may not be where I want to be
Or even close to where I should be
I'm just glad I'm not where I used to be
Regardless of my past sins
Who I've hurt or who hurt me
Whether someone disappointed me or I disappointed them
God sees me clean because of what Jesus did on the cross for me
My past is forgiven
I have a purpose for living
And I have a home in heaven
That, my friends, is great news
Receiving Jesus as my Lord and Savior
Was the best decision I made in my life
I entrusted my life to Him because, after all
He is the one that loves me more than anybody else in the entire world
I am so grateful to all those who made time to teach me about the Bible
I love meeting with my small group of women every Tuesday morning
There's always something new that I learn
I never go home the same
I've also thanked God over and over for the pain He allowed in my life
Life has become so much more interesting
Since the day I said the most important prayer in my life
Thanks for listening and taking this journey with me
I know that, for some of you, life is difficult right now
But never forget that, regardless of what's going on
God is so much bigger than our problems
I encourage you to always be prayerful
Because prayer puts the focus on the solution
Whereas worry puts the focus on the problem
There's nothing mystical about praying
You don't have to turn the lights down or even light a candle
Praying is simply talking to God
Believe me, He can handle anything
The Bible tells us His yoke is easy and His burden is light
I think you'll agree that our yoke gets way too heavy at times
Know that, if a problem doesn't kill you, it's meant to strengthen you
I love the saying, "the challenge ahead of me will never be greater than the power within me"
And that power is Jesus
Believe it, for it is true
I encourage you to find a Bible teaching church
And join a small group that will help strengthen your faith
Do you know that God knew, before time began, that you would be listening to this?
Isn't it great?
Now, go make a difference in this world for Jesus
And whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God
