I always like (always like) How you remind me (You remind me) It's the simple things (It's the simple things) (It's the simple things, it's the simple...) I still remember when You'd kiss me in the morning Then you'd smile at me Still makes me so happy Lovin' when you call On your way home I'm smilin' on the phone You whisper in my ear What you gonna do to me Still makes me so happy (It's just the simple things) This is how love should be (It's the simple things...) It's the simple things This is how love should be (It's the simple things...) Simple as ba da ba bam ba da ba bam... Oh ba da bam oh oh oh... I still remember when We'd hold hands for no reason And breakfast in bed Make love to me all day Lovin' every touch (touch) Even how your rub my chin Ask me how my day's been You, you whisper in my ear How you think I'm so sexy Still makes me so happy (It's just the simple things...) (It's the simple things, simple things...) Don't know where I'd, be without you Don't know, where I'd be You remind me (remind me) It's simple things This is how love should be This is how love should be This is how love Should be (It's just the simple things...) This is how love should be (It's the simple things...) It's the simple things This is how love should be (It's the simple things...) It's just the simple things This is how love should be (It's the simple things...) This is how love should be (It's the simple things...) This is how love, should be I don't know where I I'd be without you Don't know where I'd be You always remind me Its the simple It's the simple things It's just the simple things... Hey! I dedicate this song to my amazing parents, Leon and Tina Powitz(?), who adopted me at the age of two, and just loved me to pieces. They have been married for 5 5 years, and they are, or who, inspired me to write a song about the simple things. My dad is 94 and my mom is 88, and they still do the simple things, after all these years. My dad still takes real good care of my mom. Gases her car up and makes sure that the oil is changed. And my mom still makes him plates for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Now that may sound old-fashioned, but they're still in love, 50 plus years later. Thank you mommy and daddy for teaching me all about the simple things. I love you.
