Behold the man- Jim Murray Solo 1 Like a lamb to the slaughter They lead him away He was battered, bruised and beaten For the sheep who'd gone astray He was a man of sorrows Well acquinted with our greif He had to die for our sins &unbelief Solo 2 Through the scourging & the beating He never said a thing With a crown of thorns & a purple rope They mocked him as a king Though Pilate found no fault in him That he should have to die The crowd cried out "Away with him, he must be crucified" Behold the man Behold the man Though blameless he became the perfect sacrificial lamb Behold the man Behold the man Really look at him & then you'll understand. Solo 3 For many his their faces They just couldn't see How the son of God could be This broken man from Galilee And still today so many haven't Opened up their eyes For if they only look at him They'd know that he is the Christ
