I wrote 'Someone Else' with one of my best friends, Brett
His artists name is Leland and he's an amazing writer
Looking back, I realise now how many of his songs I have been listening to
While growing up to be the musician that I am today
He is a true inspiration
'Someone Else' was a fun session at Brett's place
And we kind of build the song around the hook
The, "Are you with someone else?", that part
We really tried to have a poetic approach when it came to the verses and
I think they are really pretty actually
The track may sound like one of the most poppiest tunes of the album
But the message it has is really deep
And to me maybe one of the most open and honest songs that I've ever written
