The Bible is the Story of God all about the Glory of God.
I poorly decide that it was a book full of stories inside.
For me to find a quick answer to my problem.
And all I had to do was solve um-by picking a quick verse
To disperse, in Church, but I was making it worse.
I used to think it was a book full of moral advice, or to recite
At the height of my problem in sight.
But its all about Christ, and how the Lord in His might
Brought salvation ultimately to bring glory to his name.
And through 42 generations to surely do the same.
The bible is the eternal God story through the range
Of history give me a minute, for me to explain.
From Genesis to Revelation, Christ is exalted
Eternal life is accomplished, scripture finishes the explanation.
John 1 verse 1 in the beginning was the word son
Genesis 1: 3 He makes the earth from, the words of His mouth
Which is only a confirmation of Colossians 1: 16 that says Jesus is the maker of God's creation.
Genesis 3 is where we bond with Satan, through a conversation
Our relationship with God is breaking.
Cause sin entered the world through Adam
Who was a type and shadow of the one who was to come
No one could fathom.
And how did God respond to us breaking his laws?
He saw we needed a savior someone to break the bond
That we made with Satan
God is takin it upon himself to rescue his people by saving us all from hell.
Genesis... 3: 15, the first time the Gospel is proclaimed
This is the first prophecy that came.
Speaking of Jesus being a redeemer
He was slain and was raised so the snake would be conquered in His name.
Jesus, He has set his table
He was slain though he was innocent, His blood cries out
He's the better Able.
Genesis 6, we see Him in the mix
Of the sin and the wickedness
His glory would show up in the story of Noah.
God told um to build a boat up.
He didn't have to get fancy with it, He just had to put is family in it.
And he did it, God showed him His grace
Cause the wrath of God was coming, only those in the boat would be safe.
God would destroy tha. workers of iniq-uity
Sin is ramped; no one searching for the rem-edy
Those outside the boat worshiping obscenity.
The boat represents the second person of the trinity.
Those in Christ would be saved from His wrath
But those that rebel and reject his grace would be smashed.
Look at Abraham; look at what he did with his life
Left his father at home, all that was shone was a picture of Christ.
When He left God on the throne to come to earth.
Look at Issac, though he was righteous he was gonna serve
As the sacrifice on the alter
By his own dad's hand.
Man this is Christ and the Father.
He's the death remedy
Jesus is the greater version of Jacob who wrestled with God in Gethsemane.
And though Jacob escaped death when he wrestled with God
Jesus would take breath and walk away from his wave blessed
Jesus is the greater Joseph, for those who betrayed Him,
He's still vowing to use His power only to save um.
He rose up above to riches' from the pit.
Extended forgiveness making provisions for those that he loved.
Jesus... is the greater Moses.
I was cursed and in slav-ery
Working and serving sin faithfully.
Then here's the deliverer bursting in saving me.
He came for me though I was undeserving and he made us free
Moses was the mediator between God and the Israelites
But God He was gracious to give us Christ.
Moses gave the old covenant.
It was full of laws and duties and rules but there was no love in it.
Right standing with God depended on what the Israelites had done
They had to be the righteous ones.
But, not so with us cause
Jesus is our mediator of a new covenant, it's dependent on Christ the son.
The work of eternal life is done.
Now righteousness comes but putting faith in the only righteous one.
And since we're speaking of the next events of the Exodus
Remember this, the Passover is a reference.
To the work of the cross.
They was still in a jam
Moses said yo, go and get an innocent lamb
Kill it and stand
Put the blood on the door post for you
And your family so that death will pass over you
But instead of a door, we got our souls covered in blood
The real Passover lamb would come from above
Unchangeable, He's the only way to go.
Jesus was innocent when he suffered; he's the greater Job.
He was afflicted tormented by the devil no apology
Friends with no help in his time of need
But he bounced back and the second time around racked up so much debt
You couldn't event count that.
Jesus is a King greater than David, slaying our giant's of Satan, sin an death
Making a statement
Jesus is the greater Jonah who spent three days in the grave
To save a multitude of people depraved and broken to.
He came so they would know the truth and raise up the temperature for a multitude
Greater than Nineveh, look at Boaz's redeeming of Ruth
To bring her into communion with God and His people of truth.
He was showing that what Jesus would do to redeem His bride
Making the church from all nations of the earth
Nehemiah rebuild Jerusalem,
He was doing something
Similar to Jesus, the old has gone, the new has come.
Speaking of new Jerusalem, we see God building an eternal home for God's children.
Hosea married an unfaithful wife whom he pursued and loved
Showing what Christ would do to us
Though we're unfaithful, ungrateful, unstable,
His love's able to bring us to the son's table
Man, I could go forever building my thesis
Of how all of the Bible is about Jesus.
From baptisms and sacramental rhythms to the tabernacle
Baffled by the sacrificial systems.
It isn't accidental wisdom
Nor is it coincidental, dig it, the Bible is Christocentric
God has revealed His son, what a joy to see this
How all of scripture points to Jesus.
