Many days of depression, I was facing oppression/
Fighting hard to trust in God, and I was raising some questions/
God knew what I needed, and brought me through in His time/
Using Sproul and his message through Renewing Your Mind/
In those hard days, when I was drowning in my loneliness/
God used R.C. to remind me of His holiness/
Pointed me to Christ, God's glory through his lowliness/
Spirit working through Sproul's ministry, steady growing Chrys/
I remember vividly learning so much theology/
During a crucial time when I needed to learn apology/
Facing heresy in my classes with some peers/
I learned orthodoxy through the work of Ligonier/
I'll eternally be grateful for Table Talk and its issues/
And Chosen by God as it helped me with my miscues/
I long to make a fraction of the impact of this pilgrim/
I'm thankful for Sproul and his massive impact on millions/
Doctrynal
I first heard Sproul on 105 FM/
12: 30, I started taking my lunch breaks then/
I wasn't missing these, Sproul was convincing me/
Got hype when I heard Handel's messiah's Sinfony/
Reformed theology to me became special /
Never shared wisdom without referring to the text though /
TableTalk had God's word hiding inside of me/
Corem deo pushed to strive in religious piety/
It's actual, Sproul was practical at Polemics/
Fanatical, I learned Classical Apologetics/
Intimate Marriage series I wasn't stopping this/
It accomplishes to remind us of God's promises /
He blessed us, pray for his children and Vesta/
I'll be sure to spread the resources that he left left us /
He taught us to hold Christ without complaints/
Precious in the Lord's sight is the death of his saints /
