Embracing vacant spaces within my mind
All plans for success were left behind
To make room for the ignorance
Inherent when you walk from whence
The shadows can linger
The darkness suffocates and beckons you nearer
Why is it I'm surrounded by these faces?
Projecting the image of failure?
We draw ourselves closer to whatever it is
That makes the world seem clearer
But in reality, it's the things that we love
That make the end seem nearer
Transcend and rise above it
Or else the gloom will devour what you've done
Leave me be, if I'm breathing
Is not a mentality to hold onto
All this time you thought you were in control
Of your mind, it's time you saw the way
Forging lines to separate your world
From what is right, but this can't be eternal

That my face is not reflected from these walls
From this world we cannot leave
The thought of clarity
