I drive an ol' car
I've got old dogs and an old cat, you see
I've been a long way down the highway, in an ol' pair of jeans
I've got a young look for an old man,
And an old, old look for a teen, ha ha ha!
I am currently in the river, past the middle of the stream
I'm on the front porch of an old,
Old house, 'midst an ol' grove of trees
Draped by grey moss, and real grass
What a wonder, I believe
There's a blue sky as clouds sashay by
Golden butterflies, in the breeze
There's a fence line, of a former time
As the bluebirds fly free
There's an ol' bench that time has quenched, its shiny coat of green
As the river runs over ol' rocks, singin' sweet songs of spring
There's the crickets' sound, and a whole town of prehistoric beings
Zippin' all about this old house
There's chameleons on the screens
