Singing-souls for eternity
You go into the market-place; the soup is on your mind.
You shop around from jewel to jewel
And you think "another time".
You do your best to cope with differences the world lays on the line.
You put your faith in the children hopscotchin'
Their laughter is divine.
As they skip, skip to the voice of the thunder of the rain
As they trust, hush, and rush to their partners
Kindergarten taught no shame.
As they chime, rhyme, keep time to the music
And learn of their heroes fame...
We're the universal children, and our family is the same.
You probe the globe in wonder - - - - folks are everywhere.
All roads must go over and under - - - - the poem will take us there.
The answers are not hidden - - - -
'Cause there's flowers on the trees.
No matter what, the winter time... springtime blooms with ease!
And the sun, sun shows the power of the father of our days
And the stars, stars are our schooling
To guide our many ways.
And love, love's gonna bring us, now love, love's gonna
Bring us to the all-time cosmic door
And the gifts and grace of our brothers and sisters
