It was Halloween, my friends and I were walkin' On everybody's door we were knockin' Dressed like fools and beggin' sweets But at the last house on the street A hand reached out and pulled me in the door Lookin' all around me, man I was a-shakin' Couldn't hear the noise my knees were makin' A band was playin' a crazy beat A girl in black was sayin' trick or treat Was the wildest costume party I'd ever seen There was a man in a bag and queens in drag Tarzan was swingin' from the chandelier And people dressed like folks from outer space There was a Frankenstein that blew my mind My vampire baby standin' oh so near Said, "I'll show you things you never knew" Pretty soon that girl and I were movin' Up and down my body she was groovin' That old house we really shook Closed my eyes, I was afraid to look Then she sank her teeth into my neck ♪ We rocked in the bed and on the floor Then hangin' from the chandelier We weren't leavin' nothin' out We rolled over and under and up and down Even though I never saw her face You know her tricks really were a treat I wondered why her mask wasn't tearin' But it wasn't a mask that she was wearin' She was really Dracula's child All her friends were really wild It wasn't a costume party after all Will I wake up tomorrow and have been dreamin'? Teethmarks in your neck there's no denyin' As sunlight started to streak the sky The crowd was fadin' before my eyes The last thing that I heard was her voice saying: "We're here every year at Halloween We'll see you next year at Halloween" That was some party, so glad l came Halloween will never be the same
