Life turned grey and the color I missed
But I never gave up, never let up
Because in my heart I knew I was enough
Forever tough, ready for war
But only with my thoughts would I draw my sword
Never controlling what's on the outside
I'd battle the thoughts in my brain that would hide
Inside of the shadows I knew I would find
My limitations that all stemmed from my mind
But knowing myself as the infinite
I told all my fears I was tired of living it
I gave it only one option
Start departing with no room to bargain
I was finished with fear, life is restarting
The shell I was wearing was no longer hardened
Breaking out of this cocoon I was wearing
Tearing down walls of the lies that were staring
Right in my face, throughout my whole life a dark place
Where I couldn't find a way out to escape
Until I discovered the truth of this maze
Our whole lives are what we create
We choose our fate
Yeah, so no need to worry longer
Don't listen in to those who fear-monger
Keep building make your story stronger
You're not a goner, unless you quit
And you can make that internal shift
And move past all that fear outside
And find your internal state of bliss
