He is alive still he wishes he had died
Along with the creature he'd just
Fought and won
The sleep of the dead seems to him denied
Now after seeing his whole crew die
One by one
Day after day with no wind and no tide
Surrounded by ghosts from a distant shore
Night after night on the ocean he rides
Hands on the helm he steers to forevermore
