All of the F.E.A.R. Transmissions are voiced by a good friend of ours named William Control
Who, um, is-is, was one of the-the first supporters of Black Veil Brides
Um, in terms of a-a, a band member, someone who was in a band, who supported the band
Uh, he was in a band called Aiden for years
And um, very early on before I even released, uh, Knives and Pens
He was one of the, the first people to come and say
"Hey, I really like what you're doing, and I support what you're doing"
And so he's always been a good friend and a bit of a mentor for me
In terms of, uh, you know, kind of entering this world
And so, um, couple of years ago he started doing spoken word stuff
He did, he was reading Poe, uh, poetry and releasing it on iTunеs
And I was a big fan of what he was doing, and so it came time for
This kind of story where I'd written this character that was meant to be the kind of
Um, Orwellian, sort of voice of the omnipotent, omniscient
Sort of, you know, political religious agenda
And um, I thought that there was really no one better than him
He's got a very, uh, distinct voice and I thought he did a great job
So all of the, the F.E.A.R. Transmissions are kind of a way of leading the story along
And helping the listener understand what's happening from the perspective of a villain
Rather than the perspective of a hero
I think often times we hear stories are, you know
The narrative is usually voiced by the person who is the hero of the story
Whereas in this I think it's important that we have this kind of 1984
V for Vendetta, kind of dystopian society thing
You're hearing what the people in this community would've heard over the loudspeakers every day
