This song was kind of a, a tough one for us to wrap our heads round first
I worked with Chad Kruger previously and were on tour around this time
And Chad called me up, and
Said, "Hey man, I got an idea of a song that I think that's perfect for you
If you don't take it, don't worry about it, I'll just call Keith Urban, so
I was like, "Hold on slick, you know, slow your roll"
"Lemme, lemme wrap my head around it and get a few, few listens"
And, uh, see what I can do with it, and
Months went by, I didn't really think about it anymore, and
Then he called me up and asked how it was going
And we decided to, uh, uhm, cut the song and it, it worked out
It was definitely a, a different vibe for us but it was such an infectious melody
I couldn't, uh, I couldn't say no to it
